"Before the war started in March 1991 at the eastern part of Sierra Leone at a village in Kailahun District where the first gun was shot, my father was a trader having a big business and life was much more better. Everything was comfortable with us. We were having a beautiful housem, I was attending one of the best primary schools in my town, but we were not having a car but bicycles were bought for us to go to school. At that time my father’s business was growing and proper care was taken. We did not know how to go to the street and search for food for ourselves. Everything was provided for us. We were having an independent life before this devilish act of our brothers Sierra Leoneans because of jealousy, greediness, and hatredness and the bad ruling of the militing APC party government. Government and people during that time wanted the SLPP and minerals which lead to an unjustic civil war which in time was about to go into tribal war, which caused sufferation in my life uptil now.

It was on Friday the 8th of June 1998. We were in school at around 8.30 am. After few months they started teaching us how to shoot and lay ambushes. But they were bigger than our hands we were even dragging them. We were given different types of drugs that made us see people like chickens. We started harassing people for food. We went after people with higher posts in the country, beating them "
